Octopus with small onions

INGREDIENTS

* 1,3 kg octopus, washed and cut in small pieces
* 1,5 cup olive oil
* 1 kg small onions, peeled (do not cut onions in pieces)
* Half cup of vinegar
* 1 cup of water
* 650 gr tomatoes, peeled and mashed
* 1 garlic clove
* 2 bay leaves
* Rosemary
* Salt
* Black thick pepper

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to the simmer and cook until all the water evaporates and octopus is left with its oil.
